Rolo sits up straight, watches the room and knows exactly which cushion is best. When things fall below his standards, he lets everyone know with one long sigh.
He is the family's voice of reason, which is why nobody listens to him.

Meet the nephew
Odie is golden, fluffy and not remotely sorry.
Odie is a golden Cavapoo and Rolo's nephew, which makes Rolo responsible for him. Rolo takes this seriously. Odie does not.
- Carries squeaky toys up the stairs, then loses them on the landing.
- Believes the good cushion is his if nobody is watching.
- Stops, looks at you, then does it again.
The house rules
Uncle's Rules
Posted beside the good cushion. The good cushion is Rolo's, not yours.
- The good cushion is reserved. Do not sit on it, even if it is warm.
- Biscuits are earned, not begged for. Rolo will still beg.
- Squeaky toys belong in the basket. Not on the stairs. Not under the sofa.
- Nephews are welcome for the afternoon. Not for the night.
- Dignity is maintained at all times, including during baths.
- A sigh is a complete sentence.
